Miji Campbell

Miji Campbell believes in the power of personal writing to balance and sustain us. As a writer, she explores the ordinary stories that connect us in extraordinary ways with our selves and each other. As a teacher and facilitator, she shares this experience, inviting participants to “write where you are.”

Miji has written for magazines, newspapers and radio. After several years of writing features about other people’s life experiences, she decided to explore her own, which sounded simple at the time.

About the Logo

This logo was created by Alberta artist Terry Leonard.

Over two years and too many lattes, we talked the process of Write Where You Are into image.

This logo symbolizes the colourful background we have within us. All our sensory and emotional memories are stored here, framed by the black border of our life experience. These are the raw materials of story, waiting to be brought into the foreground of conscious thought.
