Write Where You Are™ invites participants to explore the possibilities and power in their own writing. Workshops provide an opportunity to “play on the page,” along with helpful mini-lessons, lively discussions and an exchange of wonderful stories, both spoken and written.
Participants will:
- Gain new confidence in their natural ability as writers.
- Appreciate the value of stories to connect us with ourselves and each other.
- Learn that personal writing helps keep us well. It boosts brain and immune function, improves mood and our sense of well-being.
- Generate new ideas about how to write with students.
In collaboration with your professional learning community,
Write Where You Are can design and deliver memorable, fun experiences
for personal and professional growth.

Write Where You Are for students
Write Where You Are offers workshops for upper-elementary and secondary students on a variety of themes that encourage students to explore their memories and experiences through writing.
Through collaborative planning with teachers, outcomes from the Programs of Study for Language Arts and Health & Life Skills can be meaningfully integrated.
