Racing out ahead
To rolls of Christmas wrap
Bags of bows
Boxed cards
Flannel pajamas
Fleece robes
Down-filled vests
Polar fleece mitts
Snow shovels
It is August.
In Costco
From now on
I will linger at the food samples
Nibbling bagel chips and Boursin cheese
Sipping instant cappucino or chai
Savouring the present moment.
