Author Reading Oct 18 at the Bra Lounge in Red Deer
I was honoured to read at the The Bra Lounge in Red Deer for their #ReadfortheCure event in support of cancer research on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
Thanks to Sheena Johnson at Red Deer’s The Bra Lounge for hosting this event. #readforthecure. Always excited to take my Midge Doll and Nancy Drew books out for an evening . . .
Separation Anxiety has been to bookstores, bars, and bistros but this is its first bra store. (First bra — now there’s a story.)
This event at the Bra Lounge gives us time to share stories, celebrate friendship, and shop — all in support of #ReadfortheCure. It’s a perfect fit.
Paper Label Sleep is based in Vancouver, and has been a supporter of the Vancouver branch of Read for the Cure since it began in 2013.
This year they have designed a sleep shirt for readers to celebrate the love of reading while raising funds for Read for the Cure.
These sleep shirts are now available at the Bra Lounge, and all proceeds will be donated to #ReadfortheCure.
