I loved teaching this “Gift of Story” workshop at the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre. Participants were invited to bring splattered recipe cards and thumbed-through cookbooks as inspiration to create a special gift of story for family or friends. Imagine! A favourite Christmas sweet with a story baked right in!

It’s a long and winding road that leads from manuscript to book. I’ll be sharing my adventure with authors Doreen Vanderstoop, Lori Hahnel, and Maryke Schouten at Shelf Life Books in Calgary on Wednesday November 15 at 7pm. Please join us!
